FEMA Approved for Oregon Counties.
As a result of the Wildfires And Straight-line Winds and the effect on Oregon from September 7th to the present, the president has approved a Major Disaster Declaration. The declaration was made on September 15th, 2020 for Clackamas, Douglas, Jackson, Klamath, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, and Marion counties.
Florida Counties Approved for DUA
As a result of Hurricane Sally and its effect on Northwestern Florida from September 14th to present, the president has approved a Major Disaster Declaration. The declaration was made on September 23rd, 2020 for Bay, Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton counties.

The S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) recently announced that the new State Unemployment Insurance Tax System (SUITS) will be implemented on March 26. The SUITs system is South Carolina’s quarterly wage reporting and payment filing system.

Disaster Tax Credits Bulletin
President Trump signed into law the Disaster Tax Relief and Airport and Airway Extension Act of 2017 on September 29, 2017. The purpose of law is to deliver targeted tax relief to victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria. This includes an employee retention tax credit for employers.
