Teresa Anderson, Vice President, Tax Credit & Incentives, Missoula, Montana

The Missoula office adopted a couple organizations this year to support. The Parenting Place, Child Abuse Prevention & Missoula Aging Services.

On “Full Moon Friday the 13th” the office had an end of summer BBQ at the office and tickets for the lunch event were donations to either of the organizations. The also accepted donation materials which will be used in auctions for both organizations.

Wayne Rottger – Director, Tax, St. Louis, Missouri

Our St. Louis’ local philanthropy is the Sparrow’s Nest. They are a nonprofit that works with homeless, teen pregnant girls to provide a place to live while they are pregnant and for up to a year after the baby is born. They provide housing, food, transportation. They work with the individuals to get them re-enrolled
in school because many have dropped out; assist them with getting and keeping a job, if applicable and teach them how to raise their child once leaving The Sparrow’s Nest.

The CCC’s St. Louis team volunteers throughout the year. In September CCC sponsored the Sparrow Scramble, a fundraising golf tournament. At the event our Tax Director, Wayne Rottger assisted them in taking pictures.

On the third Saturday of each month, The Sparrow’s Nest has a “service day” for any volunteers who want to help them with keeping their place clean and in good repair between 9 am and 12 noon. Depending on the month, there may be a few volunteers or a whole bunch. They make a list of what tasks need to be done and then the volunteers get to work doing them. Wayne and his oldest daughter, Ivy (who is taking the picture) were tasked with cleaning the inside of their garbage bins. Big fun!

On Saturday, February 22, 2020, the Sparrow’s Nest will have one of their fundraisers called the Princess Dance. It’s a father/daughter dance. CCC Tax Analysts Shelley Kaibel and Monica Pagella are volunteering. Be on the lookout for those pictures!

Julie Lee – Director, Operations Support, Londonderry New Hampshire

Our local philanthropy is that we produce a free summer concert series here in Londonderry that has become an institution. It is called Concerts on the Common and we have concerts every Wednesday evening on our town common/bandstand from June through the middle of August. Information available at https://londonderryartscouncil.org/about-cotc as well as on our Facebook and Instagram accounts which are both called concertsonthecommon.

We fundraise throughout the entire winter as this is 90% funded through sponsorships. Corporate Cost Control has been a Premier sponsor for close to 10 years now!

We are really excited about this year’s schedule of performers. We will be welcoming back some crowd favorites, but will also host a group coming all the way from Nashville called High South. We end the season with a ‘blow out’ concert by Foreigners Journey which we are producing in conjunction with the Nutfield 300th Anniversary committee and Londonderry Old Home Days.

My husband takes all of the photos found on our website as well as all of the video. We really enjoy being a part of this event and are lucky that we have the opportunity to give back to our community.

John Baumgartner – Vice President, Sales, Nashville, Tennesee

CCC’s Nashville office is an active and proud supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee has a mission to To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.” They do this by helping all young people succeed through curriculum-based targeted programs and high yield activities. This includes providing tutoring, coaching and mentoring to young people. CCC ‘s Nashville team works with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee to provide both positive mentors and funds to continue to bring these programs to the area.

In April, CCC was proud to sponsor a table at the 2019 charity gala. Our team enjoyed the festivities, including entertainment from the country band, Little Big Town. We look forward to our Nashville team sharing some of the other activities they are involved with in the coming months.
