Jon-Jay was founded in 1965 and was the largest unemployment provider in the country. In 2005, Talx acquired Jon-Jay and Tim & Jay Rooney were hired to run Talx’s UCM division. The FTC removed non-competition clauses in 2009 and this is when Jay & Tim acquired Corporate Cost Control.
After dealing with the trials of selling, Jay & Tim realized that CCC would be different and began hiring the best talent from around our industry and the majority of our employees have deep roots from Frick, Sheakley, Jon-Jay, Gates McDonald, Thomas & Company, Barnett, Talx, and even Equifax. Through collaboration, our team has seen the best & worst in the market and we have raised the bar in every aspect of our service. With the third generation now working with the company, we still operate off of John Rooney’s most important principal; the client is, and will always be, at the center of everything we do!
