As of May 3rd, 2021, Executive Order 2020-12 has rescinded Executive Order 2020-11.

What does this mean for employers?

At this time, Unemployment claims will reconvene as usual. Claimants will no longer be granted unemployment benefits for COVID-19 related separation issues, and employers will no longer receive relief of benefits charged for COVID-19 associated separations.

What does this mean for claimants?

Claimants will now be required to adhere to a 1-week waiting period as well as perform weekly work searches.
