In the state of Louisiana, it is required for employers to fill out the LWC form when an employee separates from their employer. LWC-77 must be completed and submitted to the state within 72 hours of the separation.
Effective immediately, the LWC-77 form can only be submitted online through the employer’s LA HIRE account.
