The tornado that ripped through Nashville this week, brought a wake of destruction that left individuals and business stunned. CCC has an office in Nashville and several of our team members live in the area, including myself, so this hit really close to home for all of us. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all who were devastated by this tragic event.
When previous disasters have struck throughout the country and businesses needed assistance to recover, we’ve been there to help. There are several disaster relief measures designed to help individuals and businesses get back on their feet.
In the wake of this recent tragedy, Davidson, Putnam, and Wilson have been designated as counties that qualify for disaster relief provisions. One of these provisions provides an Employee Retention Credit (ERC) for businesses in those 3 disaster zone counties. Companies that were impacted as a result of the disaster may be able to claim a tax credit of up to $2400 per employee.
CCC’s experienced team has provided tax credit retrieval services for over three decades. We’re ready to help our neighboring businesses navigate the complexities of the governmental regulations required to claim these credits.
