I have to say, deciding my happiest day as an account executive is not easy.  I have had so many wonderful experiences working with such a diverse group of clients.

Years ago, I had a client ask me to assist them with training their management team in the field on how unemployment works and what they can do to improve their overall win ratio.  So, we conducted several training sessions quarterly for this employer.  Some we did via a webinar, but there were some that I conducted in person.  This required me to go to multiple states and hold 2 to 3 training seminars per day.

During these sessions, it was great to see how well the management team and human resource folks received the information I was providing.  Once I explained how unemployment is funded, most of them were really surprised.  They started to understand why employers put so much focus on unemployment.  They began asking me so many great questions, and most of them were taking notes.

After the training sessions were all complete, my contact with this employer thanked me for all the hard work and time that I put into conducting all these training sessions.  The happiest day would come the following quarter after all the training were completed.  Sitting in the quarterly meeting with several members of the client’s management team, I was able to show them that their overall win ratio and compliance ratio increased dramatically!  They were so impressed by the results we began conducting quarterly training webinars and refresher courses for those folks who had participated in the past!
