In a prospering economy, such as what we are experiencing now, mass layoffs maybe the last thing your company is going through. To further assist the client and make the process as smooth as possible, CCC  established an interface with our client to receive the required separation data in the form of a “mass claim” to help the states expedite benefits.  This data includes separation pay including severance pay, which in many states may bar an employee from receiving UI benefits until the severance ends. The state’s treatment of severance pay varies widely so we would recommend you contact us for more information.
