I am often asked by prospective customers what makes CCC unique in the UCM industry. Unemployment Cost Control Performance: CCC’s main competitive advantage is that we generate the greatest unemployment savings for our clients. Our average client achieves over 99% compliance and wins more than 92% of their protestable claims, which results in significant tax savings. In addition, we generate administrative savings for our clients because they spend less time on UI than they do with other vendors.

Industry Knowledge and Experience: CCC’s roots can be traced back to 1965, and we have unparalleled industry experience and expertise. CEO and President Jay and Tim Rooney each have over 30 years of experience. In addition, CCC has been able to hire many of the industry’s best minds away from competitors because they believe in our mission and values. Best in Class Use of Technology: In the UI industry, there is a spectrum upon which vendors incorporate technology and unemployment expertise into their process. Some of our competitors believe that technology should be used to fully automate the unemployment process while others offer their clients industry expertise but have limited technology to offer.

We use technology to expedite the UI process – where it is appropriate. For example, if there is a ‘lack of work’ claim, our system will automatically process the claim, audit the charges, and a Claims Analyst will not review it. However, we believe that it is essential for a skilled and experienced claims analyst to review each claim that requires it. This consultative aspect of our service allows our clients to respond to claims with excellent documentation in a timely and compliant manner, giving our clients the best chance of winning claims at the initial level.

Customer Service: Quality customer service can be challenging to find in the UI industry. Many providers are prone to late and non-compliant claims, which adversely affect organizations unemployment expenses. In addition, companies do not return emails and calls in a timely manner, making it difficult to run an effective unemployment program.
