outsourcing

Outsourcing can be a daunting and scary word. Companies handling Unemployment internally often feel comfortable with their process and think they are doing an adequate job.

This may be the case, but the difference between adequate and excellent can mean tens of thousands of dollars; and after the initial growth period, the outsourced process can be more simple and comfortable than the previous internal process.

Below some of the many benefits of outsourcing the Unemployment Process:

Relief of Administrative Burden:

Some companies allocate a large amount of time or even multiple employees to handling their internal unemployment process. When outsourcing, this need is removed and allows the company to use these employees and their time in a more meaningful and impactful way.

Additionally, the financial burden is lessened. For example, I have seen some companies who have a fee of 20,000 dollars. This seemed like a lot at first, until they considered they were paying two employees $40,000 each to do the same job in a less effective manner.

Increase in Win and Compliance Percentages:

CCC often offers a performance guarantee for win percentage and compliance percentage. This is achieved through experience, consultation, and a full understanding of all parts of the Unemployment Process. An employee of a company who handles this internally is typically not 100% focused on unemployment alone or does not have years of experience like our analysts do. With more experience comes and understanding how to execute at claims and hearing level, which is often lacking in the in-house operations.

Reporting:

Most in house operations do not have reporting and tracking capability. If they do, a large amount of time is spent updating and maintaining this report. CCC is consistently tracking performance using our custom technology. From this tracking, we built helpful web reports to reveal your company’s ROI, performance indicators, and extrapolate useful strategies going forward.

Rapport with State Agencies:

CCC works with every state daily in responding to our client’s claims and hearings. With that comes a rapport and relationship. This allows us and our clients to have some leniency and understanding that may not occur with a smaller company doing things by themselves.

Hearing Representative Availability:

Corporate Cost Control has a network of hearing representatives covering all 50 states. Many states require representation in person, which is extremely difficult to fulfill for a smaller company using an in-house format. A large amount of company time and resources would need to be used in these events when instead a highly experienced CCC representative could be assigned to the task.
