With the majority of Unemployment Hearings taking place via telephone these days, some companies don’t realize the importance of their Unemployment TPA having national coverage, but there are many benefits including:

Local ExpertiseHaving Hearing Representatives in each of the 50 States is critical to winning more cases.  Each State has different Unemployment laws and regulations, so our hearing representatives are specialized in their States to be experts in their designated area. Most states conduct a majority of their hearings via telephone; however, there are some States that still require in-person hearings such as Massachusetts, California, New York, Pennsylvania, and more.   Both types of hearings can vary by State. In some states, the hearing officer will lead the hearing, while in others, it is our representative’s job to do the questioning and lead the hearing.  Having a locally educated hearing representative will allow your witnesses to feel prepared and comfortable and in return, have a better chance of winning the hearing.

Mail Centers– Having offices across the country allows us to have multiple mail centers.  The advantage of having more than one mail center is that the faster we receive the claim and other unemployment related paperwork, the longer the client will have to respond to it.  Most of our claims now come electronically via SIDES, but all other forms, such as determinations, hearing notices and more still come via mail.  Many of our competitors only receive mail at their headquarters, so if the claim is coming from the West Coast and arriving at their headquarters on the East Coast, it will take a long time to arrive at their office.  CCC has both three mail centers, strategically located throughout the country, Londonderry, NH, Bakersfield, CA and Clearwater, FL. This structure allows us to receive all unemployment mail faster than our competition.   Once the mail arrives at these offices, we have a team that will upload the documents electronically into our system on the same day it’s received, and our clients will have access to them right away. Our mail centers operate six days per week, with multiple shifts.   This process allows our clients more time to respond to all unemployment inquiries, increasing their compliance and win percentages, and lowering their stress levels.

Client Visits– At CCC, we visit our clients regularly to check in and review reports.  Often, especially during implementation, the Account Executive will be visiting quite frequently, which is why it is so important that we have offices all over the country.  Each regional office will have claims analysts, hearing coordinators and account executives that work on a number of clients in their region.  Having regionalized teams makes it easier to visit their clients on a regular basis.

Training & Education– In addition to client visits, CCC also offers complimentary training and education to our clients.  Training and Education can be conducted via webinar or in-person, although many sessions are done via webinar, we prefer the in-person training.  Each team at CCC wants to get to know their clients as best as they can and become immersed in their clients’ company policies, procedures, and culture.  The Account Executives will run quarterly reports for each client and look for regions, divisions, or specific locations that need improvement.   Once they specify what needs to be improved, they will customize a training and education program to improve results.  CCC believes that each client relationship is a true partnership, and we should work together to improve your Unemployment Tax rates.  Having offices nationwide allows for easy accessibility to reach all of our clients and their field locations at any time.
